Opening · Chapter 1
To complete a college summer field research project, my best friend Zack Miller and I went back to his rural family cabin deep in the Southern countryside.
His dad welcomed us with an overly excited grin: "Well, lookee here!
This gal is mighty fine!" After a brief, confusing explanation from Zack, I just smiled sheepishly, thinking the old man was praising my good looks.
That was until Zack's dad crept into my bed under the cover of night, and I kicked him so hard he flew across the room.
What the old creep didn't know was that not only am I a dude, but I'm also a seconddegree black belt in Taekwondo! "This gal is awesome!" Zack's mom, Brenda, placed a dozen dishes on the dining table. "We’ve got plenty of food here.
Eat up, honey!" They spoke with a thick, heavy Southern drawl that I could barely understand. To be polite, I chimed in with the only local slang I knew: "Sho' nuff!
Sho' nuff!" Zack's dad, Arthur, scanned me from head to toe, his eyes lingering heavily on my chest. Was that... a look of admiration? Something felt incredibly off.
Maybe he thought my chest muscles looked welltoned? With that thought, I unconsciously puffed out my chest a bit. A mysterious, creepy smile spread across Arthur's face.
It wasn't until dinner ended and Zack stealthily pulled me into his room that the truth came out. He looked incredibly embarrassed as he spoke: "My parents...
I think they think you're my girlfriend." "What the fuck?!" I practically jumped out of my skin. "Why the hell didn't you correct them?!" His face turned bright red as he stammered: "Come on, man!
We’ve been best friends for nine years!" "To tell you the truth, my parents are desperate for me to get married and have kids the moment I graduate.
They're already scouting local farm girls for me!" "I really don't want to marry a country girl and settle down here.
Can you... just help me cover for it this once?" "I'll call you my savior, my brother, whatever you want!" I was hesitating at first, but his desperate plea broke me: "Fine!
But on one condition—you buy me breakfast for an entire semester. Deal?" Zack gritted his teeth but quickly agreed. But business is business.
After all, I am one of the wealthiest heirs in Boston. Having him run my morning errands was the least he could do.
As an art major, I kept my hair quite long, and my facial features were soft and delicate. It was true that I could easily be mistaken for a girl.
With my dedicated acting, even Zack couldn't help but look at me with a bit of "appreciation." But very soon, I realized things were taking a bizarre turn.
Humming a tune, I headed to the bathroom. Arthur, looking strange, handed me some folded clothes: "Here, honey. These are Brenda's clothes.
Just wear them for now." I paused for a few seconds before taking them: "Oh, okay. Thanks." As I peeled off my clothes one by one, a sudden shiver ran down my spine.
It felt like someone was watching me. Slowly, I parted a corner of the shower curtain. Through the crack in the door, I locked eyes with a pair of peeping eyes!
Terrified, I grabbed the clothes to cover my private parts and kicked the door with all my might! "Ouch!" Arthur fell flat on his butt, groaning on the floor. Holy crap!
Now I finally knew what was so off about his looks! The old creep actually had dirty designs on me! Hearing the noise, Zack and Brenda rushed over and helped him up: "Arthur!
What happened? How did you fall?" I shrugged and threw my hands up: "I have no idea.
The moment I opened the door, he just fell right there." Arthur gave me a guilty, resentful glare: "No... nothing.
I just lost my footing..." Terrified that his filthy secret would be exposed, he could only swallow his anger and play dumb.
That night, I dragged Zack into the room and told him everything. He looked shocked: "No way, right?" "My dad is an honest guy.
He would never do something like that..." My eyes widened in disbelief: "Zack!
Do you really think I'd make up a lie about my own modesty?!" Zack hesitated for a long time before agreeing to have a private talk with his dad the next day.
But the next morning, something even more shocking happened!
Opening · Chapter 2
Arthur was actually walking around the house completely naked! When he saw Zack and me, he even shook his lower body as if he were showing off.
That scene... let's just say it was an absolute assault on my eyes! Zack's face turned incredibly pale: "Dad! We have a guest here...
You should really put some clothes on." Arthur muttered a few dismissive words.
He purposely loitered in front of me, slowly pacing around twice before finally heading back to his room. What a total freak!
Even when he finally came to the breakfast table, he was only wearing a pair of greasy boxers.
He propped his leg up on the chair, his flabby chest shaking as he shoved hardboiled eggs into his yellowtoothed mouth. "We’re all family here.
You'll get used to it!" Brenda said as she scooped out bowls of oatmeal. Who the hell is family with him? Two absolute weirdos.
With a dark face, I leaned in and whispered to Zack: "If it weren't for our college field research project, I wouldn't have stayed here for a single second!" "The moment I collect my samples, I'm out of here!
Not a second longer!" Embarrassed, Zack could only nod in agreement. During the day, I used the field research as an excuse to stay outside the entire time.
But when I walked through the door that evening, I ran straight into Arthur: "Honey, you were gone all day. I was so worried about you.
I've been waiting right here for you to come home." "By the way, honey, why didn't you wear the clothes I gave you yesterday?" He stared intensely at my chest with greasy, lustful eyes.
I didn't care about my promise to Zack anymore. I snapped back coldly: "Are you sick in the head? I'm a grownass man.
Why would I wear women's clothes?" Arthur reached out, trying to caress my cheek: "A girl as beautiful as you can't be a man!
Don't talk nonsense!" I dodged his hand swiftly: "Go ask your own son! If he hadn't begged me for help, do you think I'd even be standing here?!" "Also, look at my height!
I’m six feet tall! How on earth could I be a girl?!" His smile grew even creepier: "Six feet is perfect... Great proportions. You must be a model!" Psycho!
I ignored him entirely and locked myself in my room. My university assignment was done. There was no reason for me to stay in this house of creeps.
I opened my phone and immediately booked the earliest Amtrak train ticket for the next morning.
This time, I made sure to doublelock the bedroom door, just to keep any perverts out!
In the middle of the night, as I was fast asleep, I faintly heard the sound of a key turning in the lock. Then, a pair of soft hands wrapped around my chest. What a nice dream!
I reached out to touch the hands, but my fingers brushed against rough, calloused, dry skin! What the actual fuck?!!! I jolted awake instantly.
Springing up from the bed, I threw a heavy fist at the figure under my blanket! I didn't even need to think to know it was that old creep!
I dragged him out of the bed along with the blanket and kicked him mercilessly! I am a seconddegree black belt in Taekwondo!
The only reason I didn't get my firstdegree black belt was because someone provoked me before the exam, and I ended up putting them in a wheelchair.
I was kicked out of the academy after that. Still furious, I mounted him on the floor, my fists raining down on him like a storm. Old bastard!
Not only did you sexually harass me, but you also ruined my sleep! The man beneath me wailed and begged for mercy: "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!
Stop hitting me!" By the time Zack and Brenda rushed into the room, Arthur was beaten black and blue, unable to even crawl off the floor.
Brenda sobbed hysterically as she called 911, while Zack turned on me, screaming: "Oliver! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Opening · Chapter 3
My anger flared up instantly: "What is wrong with me?!
Why don't you ask how your dad got into my room in the first place?" "If he hadn't sneaked into my room and crawled into my bed in the middle of the night, would he be lying there like a dog?!" Zack choked on his words, his face turning incredibly red.
Brenda kept crying and yelling: "Assault is a crime!
You are coming to the hospital with us, and we are going to settle this right now!" Though I was extremely reluctant, I followed them to the hospital.
After all, if this drama leaked out, it would ruin my family's reputation. The medical report came out quickly: Three fractures, nine lacerations, and sixteen severe bruises.
The doctor shook his head in disbelief: "Did he... fall off a cliff?
This is going to take months to recover..." I casually pulled out a credit card and tossed it to Zack: "There's ten thousand dollars in there.
That's more than enough for his treatment!" Zack turned around to whisper with Brenda for a few minutes.
Then, he turned back to me with a cold face: "My dad's medical bills, lost wages, and emotional distress add up to a total of five hundred thousand dollars.
Not a single penny less!" My jaw nearly hit the floor. Are you kidding me? They are just a struggling rural family.
Five hundred thousand dollars is enough to support them for three years without working! I had always been incredibly generous to Zack.
Whenever we went out, I never let him spend a dime. It seemed like he was trying to use this opportunity to squeeze me dry.
Even though half a million dollars wasn't even my allowance for a single week, looking at their greedy faces, I didn't want to give them a single cent.
Right in front of their eyes, I snapped the credit card clean in half: "So you guys love extortion, huh?" "Forget five hundred thousand.
Now, you won't get a single dime from me!" "You're demanding money, but you haven't said a single word about why he got hurt!" "Technically, your family should be paying me for my psychological trauma!" The commotion quickly drew the attention of the hospital staff and patients.
Zack’s face shifted from green to white, unable to find his tongue. Brenda screamed right back, completely shameless: "You little whore!
You tried to seduce my husband, and when it didn't work, you beat him like this!" "I was willing to let it slide with some money because you're my son's girlfriend.
But since you want to embarrass us, I don't care about your reputation either!" "You're just trying to pull a honeytrap blackmail scheme!" The crowd began pointing and whispering at me: "Well, she is really pretty, kind of androgynous." "Oh, come on, do you want to get blackmailed by her too?" Androgynous my ass!
I am a literal dude! I glared at Zack: "Tell them right now.
What is my actual gender?" "I should never have lied and pretended to be your girlfriend in the first place!" Zack gritted his teeth and lied through his teeth: "Aren't you my girlfriend?!" Then, he leaned into my ear and whispered maliciously: "You better shut up, apologize, and pay the money.
You're the one who beat him up!" I was completely disgusted. I turned around and walked out of the hospital. It wasn't because I was running away.
I had just checked the time, and if I didn't leave now, I would miss my train back to Boston. Normal people don't belong in a house of three psychos. As I walked, I ordered an Uber.
Zack's short legs scrambled behind me, panting heavily as he barely managed to catch up. "I don't care if you're a guy or a girl!
You beat my dad, so you have to pay!" "I stood up for you before because I thought you were reasonable.
I didn't expect you to be a violent thug!" "Not only do you have to pay, but you also have to stay and nurse my dad until he fully recovers!" I didn't even look at him.
I hopped into the Uber and slammed the door: "Please take me to the train station." Zack was furious. He chased the car down the street, screaming like a maniac: "Oliver Vance!
You are going to regret this!" I did regret it. I regretted having such a terrible judge of character and calling someone like him my friend.
I immediately blocked his number and all his social media accounts on Snapchat. Thankfully, I made it to the train.
I spent the rest of my summer break relaxing in the comfort of my family's mansion.
But on the very first day of the new semester, I realized everyone was looking at me with bizarre, disgusted eyes.
Opening · Chapter 4
A guy in my class walked up to me with a greasy grin, reaching his hand out toward my chest: "Hey, let me get a feel of those~" I slapped his hand away and barked angrily: "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He rolled his eyes and sneered: "Why are you acting so innocent?
Didn't you grow those for guys to touch?" "Turns out you're just a freak!
No wonder you insisted on living offcampus!" "Do you honestly think anyone would want a piece of trash like you?
Don't act like a virgin when you're selling yourself!" My anger flared, and I raised my fist to smash his face in. "Stop right there!" Our college counselor's stern voice boomed from behind.
Mr. Higgins adjusted his goldrimmed glasses, looking at me with a disgusting glare: "Oliver Vance.
I don't care how messy your private life is outside of school, but how dare you assault a classmate in broad daylight?!" I felt incredibly wronged. Whose private life was messy?!
I admit I was a bit spoiled as a kid, always bossing around the maids at home, which was why my parents hid our wealth and sent me to a public school to humble my temper.
But that was ages ago! Before I could even speak, Mr. Higgins waved his hand dismissively: "Come with me to the empty classroom next door.
Don't disrupt the class." Under the mocking stares of my classmates, I was dragged away by the counselor. Confused and angry, I was about to speak when: "Mr.
Higgins..." He quickly pulled up a video on his phone and shoved it in front of my face, cutting me off: "Take a look at this.
Do you have any decency left?" On the screen was a security video of me clumsily dressed in women's clothes.
In the next clip, Arthur was creeping into my room in the dark, followed by me beating him to a pulp. I lowered my head and confessed: "Mr.
Higgins, I had a very good reason for hitting him." "But I admit I shouldn't have dressed up as a girl..." He frowned and cut me off again: "A good reason?" "Putting aside the fact that you apparently faked your gender to enroll here, do you have any idea that your assault on a classmate's father is trending on our university's forum?" Faking my gender?
Are you out of your mind? I am a biological male! I tried to explain: "Mr.
Higgins, I'm not a girl!" He took off his glasses and slammed them onto the desk: "Save your excuses!" "Your cheap honeytrap blackmail scheme has turned this university into a laughingstock!
A massive crowd online is trashing our school's reputation right now.
Do you know how much damage you've caused?!" He pulled out a document and pointed at the bottom line: "The Principal and I have already discussed this.
Sign this, and never claim to be a student of this university again!" Lying in front of me was a voluntary withdrawal form. "Did the Principal really order this?" I gritted my teeth, asking him one last time.
He replied impatiently, "Yes!" Fine! Very well! When I enrolled, my parents not only made a massive investment in this school but also donated a brandnew library building!
And now they want to turn their backs on me?! I signed my name on the paper, stroke by stroke. As I was walking out of the campus gates, my phone rang.
It was an anonymous call: "Is this Oliver Vance?
After a thorough discussion, our company has decided to withdraw your internship offer." Before I could even respond, the line went dead with a sharp beep.
This was a Fortune 500 company I had secured an offer from early due to my outstanding academic performance, with a guaranteed fulltime job upon graduation.
Now, it was completely ruined. As I got into my car to head home, my dad’s call came through: "Son, what on earth is going on?
Your counselor just texted me saying you’ve been expelled?!" I let out a bitter, helpless laugh: "Dad, if you don't step in now, your billionaire son is about to be turned into a billionaire daughter!"
